An Easy dinner formula - Broiled Garlic Ginger Pork Tenderloin with Broiled Vegetables

This easy dinner formula is also an easy clean up. You need only a broiling pan and a cutting board to make the perfect meal. The menu features broiled pork tenderloin and broiled vegetables. Add a nice slice of bread to round out the meal. The vegetables are broiled right alongside the meat for a quick, easy dinner formula that is sure to please.

Garlic Ginger Pork Tenderloin Dinner

Meat Casseroles

3/4 pound pork tenderloin

1 Tablespoon garlic, minced

1 Tablespoon fresh ginger root, minced

seasoned salt

1 large onion, sliced thin

2 small yellow squash or zucchini squash

2 medium size tomatoes

1-2 Tablespoons olive oil

Few drops balsamic vinegar (optional)

kosher salt

Preheat the broilerCombine the ginger and garlic. Pierce the tenderloin all over the surface forming diminutive pockets. Rub the ginger and garlic mixture into these pockets. Season the surface well with seasoning salt. Place onto a broiler pan. Slice the onions, squash and tomatoes for broiling. Slice the squash in half lengthwise and the tomatoes crosswise. Slice the onion into slices and place on the broiler pan, cut side up, nearby the pork tenderloin.Brush the onions, squash and tomatoes with oil, then sprinkle with kosher salt. Optional: sprinkle the tomatoes with a diminutive balsamic vinegar.Broil 4 - 6 inches from the heat for 8 minutes. Turn the pork tenderloin over. Broil for another 6 minutes. When the pork is done, change to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.Cut the pork into thin slices and dispose on dinner plates with the onion, squash and tomato. Enjoy! You can roast any other vegetables you desire with this easy dinner formula as well. Use sliced peppers, leftover boiled or baked potatoes or sweet potatoes.

This easy dinner formula for pork tenderloin prepared is very with garlic and ginger, but it is delicious! It is worth the endeavor to make the pockets for the ginger and garlic. The spiciness penetrates the meat. If you don't want to be bothered making the pockets, then coat the meat with the spices on the outside. I prefer Lawry's Seasoned Salt for coating the outside, give it a good sprinkle. The salty spiciness makes this dish.

You can get ready a pork loin this way as well, but it will need to cook much longer. Usually, when establishment a loin, I get ready it this way, then put it on the grill for about 30 - 45 minutes or until done.

I hope you enjoy this easy dinner formula and that it will inspire you to try broiling other vegetables and meats for an easy and quick meal.

Yikes! The Turkey Is Done, But the Guests Are Delayed! How Do I Keep My Thanksgiving Dinner Warm?

The turkey is done, but where are the guests? Winter weather and too much traffic can slow down cars and planes. And then there are those who live around the corner from you but are chronically late for everything. Don't invite them next year. Find prompter friends. But that doesn't solve this year's problem: how to keep food at a safe and appetizing temperature while waiting for dilatory diners. This article will cover holding techniques used by experts.  But first, some basics about food safety and the definition of a cooked turkey.

Delicious Family Dinner Ideas For a Large Brood

Cooking for a large family can sometimes be quite a challenge. Planning ahead and creating delicious family dinner ideas is the way to stay on top of it. You can really use the seasons to your advantage when cooking for a large family. During the warmer months of the year, use your outdoor grill as much as possible. With a larger cooking space, you can grill several pieces of chicken or hamburgers or hot dogs in record time. Serve your grilled meat with a scoop of barbecued baked beans and an ear of corn on the cob and you have a quick and delicious dinner for a large family that was made in no time flat!

In the colder months, it is all about casseroles, which can serve a large family. Many people are not fans of "one-pot" meals, but with a large family and very little time, sometimes sacrifices have to be made. Combine diced ham with cooked egg noodles, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, canned corn and diced green peppers in a greased casserole dish. Top it with bread crumbs and more cheddar cheese and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees and you have a hearty, stick-to-your-ribs meal with only one pan to clean up, leaving you more time to spend with that large brood of yours!

Meat Casseroles

Take to other families who have a large household for more family dinner ideas. Often times, sharing and swapping recipes will give you new and improved ideas to serve your family. If you live in a good community, come up with a "day of cooking" schedule where you take your kids to the neighbors and you spend the entire day cooking and freezing items that you can use for the month. On a different day, your neighbors will do the same. This is a great way to keep your freezers stocked with healthy meals and your children will enjoy having a play date with some of their friends! Freezing items such as meatloaf, tuna casseroles, spaghetti sauces and soups is a great plan on colder months when you are not able to use your outdoor grill as much.

Easy To Prepare Mexican Dinner Casserole Recipes

Are you looking for a few great tasting Mexican style dinner recipes that your family will enjoy? Does your family enjoy enchiladas and tacos? If so, I think these two casserole recipes will be ones that your family will enjoy.

If preparation time is an issue for you, you can prepare them up ahead of time in the morning and refrigerate. Once dinner time arrives, remove them from the refrigerator and let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before placing them into the oven. If you have any left-overs you will need to refrigerate them in an airtight container for up to 3 days. These dishes do not freeze well, so please don't freeze your leftovers.

Meat Casseroles

Mexican Enchilada Casserole Recipe

1 lb. ground beef

1 (16 ounce) can refried beans

1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

1/2 cup water

1 envelope of enchilada sauce mix (purchase it near where the taco seasoning is sold)

8 (8" round) flour tortillas

2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

1 container sour cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large frying pan, simmer the ground beef until it is no longer pink and it's brown. Drain off any excess grease. Stir in the refried beans, tomato sauce, water and the envelope of enchilada sauce mix, bringing the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.

Arrange half of the flour tortillas on the bottom of a 3 quart casserole dish or an oblong baking pan, overlapping them as you go along. Top with half of the ground beef mixture and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Repeat with the remaining floured tortillas and remaining ground beef mixture.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Remove and sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top and place back into the oven for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven and place a few dollops of sour cream on top before serving. This recipe will make 8 hearty servings.

Cheesy Taco Casserole Recipe

1 package of taco seasoning

12 oz. pkg. of shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 bag tortilla chips

(optional) Your choice of salsa

Brown the ground beef and drain. Add in the taco seasoning according to package directions and simmer until its done. Add in the cream of mushroom soup, do not add water and simmer for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.

In a large casserole dish, spray non-stick spray. Place a layer of tortilla chips, layer of meat mixture, then cheese, continue till full and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and serve with optional salsa on top. This recipe will make 6 hearty servings.

How To Make The Best Meatloaf Dinner

I have been making this meatloaf dinner for my family for more then thirty years they seem to always want more. Every time I make a meatloaf dinner the family all gathers for dinner to eat and talk about every thing from sports to world events. I hope people will enjoy this dinner with their family. I enjoy cooking for people I just do not get the chance to cook that much for any one right now. I hope this meal will bring your families back time after time like my family has.

First you need about three pounds of ground beef to make a good size meat loaf. This will feed about five to six people for dinner. Put the ground beef in a glass bowl so it can be mixed up. First take to grade a large eggs break them and mix up with the ground beef thoroughly. Then shake in about a third of a can or jar of seasoned bread crumbs this will give the meat loaf more flavor. Take one medium can of stewed tomatoes mix then up with all other ingredients. make sure the the tomatoes are mixed completely up in the meat loaf not on top.

Preheat the oven to three hundred twenty five degrees put the meat loaf in a glass baking pan let the meatloaf cook for about one hour and twenty five minutes. Make sure while the meat loaf is cooking to drain all grease from the baking pan every fifteen minutes to keep the flavor in the meat loaf. Cook the meatloaf until light brown on top.

I usually make mashed potatoes from fresh peeled potatoes to go with the meatloaf. Make a fresh salad with lettuce tomatoes and cucumbers then just add a dressing to the salad and dinner is all set and ready to serve. Cut the meat loaf in thin slices and serve with mash potatoes and salad.

If you want add a heated dinner roll to the dinner I hope people enjoy this family meal and spend many hours talking together . Please Enjoy this dinner as a family as I do with my family.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese Ground Beef Dinner Recipe

This dish is especially good if made with leftover homemade macaroni and cheese. I like to make extra ahead of time, just to use in this recipe.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese Ground Beef Dinner

Meat Casseroles

Ingredients:

1 medium onion, sliced
1 cup celery, sliced on the diagonal
1 cup sliced mushrooms, diced (or 1 small can, drained)
1 bell pepper, sliced
4 tomatoes, peeled and diced (or 1 small can diced tomatoes, drained)
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cups cooked macaroni

Preparation:

Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Saute onion, celery, mushrooms and bell pepper in oil until slightly limp. Remove from pan and set aside.

In same pan, cook ground beef until browned. Drain fat, add oregano, salt and pepper. Stir together well.

Add sauteed vegetables, tomatoes, cheese and macaroni, mixing well. If you are using leftover macaroni and cheese, reduce shredded cheese by 1/4 cup and sprinkle on top before baking.

Place in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F, or until golden brown. Serves 4 to 6.

Tip: This dish doubles and freezes well. For added convenience, make 2 pans and place 1 or both in the freezer. Be sure to cover top of dish tightly with aluminum foil. When ready to use, let thaw 2 to 3 hours before baking in preheated oven. You can also thaw this dish in the microwave if using a glass baking dish.

The All-American Dinner - Meat Loaf

One of my favorite meals growing up was a hearty dinner of meat loaf. Although this great American dish has kind of gone out of fashion, I think we should give meat loaf another chance.

The 1950's was the heyday of meat loaf, but I would like to give you three new and improved meat loaf recipes to add to your modern meals for your family:

Meat Casseroles

·         Broccoli and Cheese Meat Loaf

·         7-Up Meat Loaf

·         Basic Turkey Meat Loaf

Broccoli and Cheese Meat Loaf Recipe

Broccoli and Cheese, it's a good as its sounds! You need all your regular ingredients for meat loaf: 2 eggs, pound and a half of ground beef, half a cup of bread crumbs (Italian style), and half a cut of ketchup. Also include one cup of frozen broccoli and size slices of American cheese to your ingredients list. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Take a mixing bowl and beat two eggs until smooth. Add the beef, bread crumbs, onion, and ketchup. This is the main dish. To add the great broccoli and cheese twist, make an indentation down the middle of the meat loaf, and place the broccoli inside, covered by three slices of cheese. Then cover this mixture with the left over beef mixture. Bake for about one hour then cover the top with cheese, and serve!

7-Up Meat Loaf Recipe

To make this interesting dish, the key is in your bread crumbs. Make your favorite type, making sure to brush it with Worcestershire sauce. Before cooking, however, you need to soak your bread crumbs in 7-Up. This will give your dish a sweeter taste, but also have a little kick from the carbonation. You probably don't believe me, but this is a great recipe, and you can only know how it turns out if you try it yourself!

Basic Turkey Meat Loaf

If beef is a little too heavy for you, and you want to try the turkey dish, this is a great recipe to start on. You need two pounds of turkey, an onion, garlic, an egg, ketchup, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, and paprika.  What is great about this meal is that when it is cold, it is a great sandwich meat for a week afterward.

Beef and Eggplant Casserole Family Dinner Recipe

During the mid to late summer, our eggplant from our garden comes into season. One of our favorite eggplant recipes is this easy to make casserole dish with the addition of lean ground beef.

This recipe does take some time to make, so I would recommend it for a weekend dinner, however, your efforts to make it will be rewarded as it is very delicious.

Beef and Eggplant Casserole

2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cans (8 ounce) tomato sauce
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/8 teaspoon anise seed
1 eggplant (about 1 1/4 pounds in size)
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup seasoned dried bread crumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1-2 packages Mozzarella cheese, sliced

In a large skillet, melt the butter and then saute the onions, garlic and ground beef until the beef is no longer pink. Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano, basil, parsley and anise seed, mix well. Simmer the mixture for 7 minutes over low heat, then set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9 x 13" baking dish with nonstick vegetable spray. Wash eggplant and slice down to 1/4" thick pieces.

Combine eggs and 1 tablespoon water in a medium-sized bowl, mix well. In a large pie plate, combine the bread crumbs and a 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Dip the eggplant slices in egg mixture and then into the bread crumbs mixture, until they are coated in crumbs.

In a frying pan with a little bit of vegetable oil, saute the eggplant slices until they are golden brown on both sides, drain on paper towels.

Place a single layer of eggplant in the bottom of your baking dish. Sprinkle with some of the remaining Parmesan cheese, top with a few slices of Mozzarella cheese and then cover with some of the sauce. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, making sure to cover the top with Mozzarella cheese.

Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Makes 4-6 servings.
